Tim Carmichael, host of Thee Hubbell House, invites you to be his special guest on a stay at his southern plantation estate located seventy-five miles east of Dallas amidst the beauty of the Piney Woods of Northeast Texas.
Nestled among 400 year old oak trees, the beautifully landscaped gardens of Thee Hubbell House are an enjoyable place to spend time walking or sitting while enjoying the serenity and basking in the ambiance of yesteryear. The gardens also become an excellent introduction for what our guests discover when they first walk into the houses of the property.
On entering each building, it instantly becomes apparent that the period antiques furnished in the rooms and common areas have been specially picked with great care to ensure both comfort in their use and an appropriate image of the historical essence of the estate. Each room is en-suite and has its own sense of inviting warmth leading guests to quickly forget about any of the outside distractions they have left behind.
Please take a minute to enjoy the picture tour of Thee Hubbell House Bed & Breakfast Resort. See for yourself what awaits you when visiting us here in the historic district of Winnsboro, all while you are enjoying the unique touch of Southern hospitality on your unforgettable trip through Southern history.

We came to town for a concert at the Bowery Stage, and a local friend recommended this B&B. It was in walking distance of the concert, and we had a great breakfast the next morning. The rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. Only complaint from my husband was the train noise all night, which isn’t something they don’t have any control of. Would definitely recommend it.

First the folks that run HH are so nice and accommodating, they made our stay great from the time we arrived. The house is located within walking distance to downtown and there you will find restaurants, shopping and a first class spa, all staffed by amazingly friendly people. Highly recommend this town and the HH for a weekend getaway or family gathering as they have allot of capacity.

This was my first experience at a B&B and I was not disappointed. The owner called me himself to make sure I was okay because I was running behind schedule on my drive from Dallas. The food was fresh and delicious - they cater your time needs and any dietary restrictions you might have. The staff was very friendly and available even when I just had a silly question. The room was very charming and I felt very much at home. I would stay again given the chance to.
